Midnight Elegance

A couple of cards made using elements from the Midnight Elegance kit by Hunkydory. I also ordered the additional card pack for this. I think its the colours and the foiling but I'm finding this kit hard to use as it's just so lovely to sit & look at, the card is so tactile too - I know that may sound a bit weird but who cares!!

The first card I made for my friend for her birthday:

This card I made for my nephew & his now fiancee for their engagement:

This card will be the valentines card for my husband, so keep it quiet as obviously he hasn't seen it yet!!

Sunday 20 January 2013

Hello again,

The birthday card today is one I made for my brother-in-law using images from the La Pashe 2012 CD which I got for Christmas. I made it as a swing card & the backing paper is also from from the CD.

Shabby Vintage

Hi,

Just a few cards today made from a Shabby Vintage Goody Bag I got from the Doncaster show last July, I love the flowers on these & the subdued colours.

The backing papers on two of the cards was also from the goody bag the pink was from my stash.

The punches used were from Tonic & Martha Stewart.

I think the pink card is missing something but I'm not sure what, maybe a sentiment needs to be added.

Enjoy!!

Tea Party Collection

Hi Everyone,

I apologise again for not putting a post up for nearly a month although I can't believe it's that long. I intended to do one just before Christmas but ran out of time. Then between Christmas & New Year we lost my father-in-law so supporting my husband & his sisters was my priority, the funeral is next week. He had an amazing life and was a very inspirational person to those both within the family and outside.

Back to the cards, these are all made using the Hunkydory Tea Party Collection kit. The only additions are some embellishments & card used for matting & layering. I made 14 cards from this kit, in fact I had a 1 sheet of card & 1 sheet of paper left plus a number of off cuts which I've obviously kept to use on other projects.

These cards formed part of the Christmas presents put together for my step-mum & sisters-in-law. Please excuse the flash reflection from the foiling on a couple of them .
