Well what a surprise I got yesterday to find that I'd won the blog candy from Dragon Lair Designs that I put as the first post on my blog. First time I've ever won anything like that. The site is well worth a visit as they've some lovely digital backing papers & digital stamps.
The items will get well used as I'm currently recuperating from a hip replacement so am not very mobile at the moment so crafting is helping to keep me busy. This is also an apology if for not making many posts in the last couple of weeks.
I'm glad you dropped by and visited my blog. I hope you like my creations and I would love to read any comments you may wish to leave. It would be nice to build up some followers too which you can do by subscribing. Thank-you.

Sisters Birthday Card
This ones for my sister but ssshhh! it's not her birthday for a while & as my blog is new I'm safe in posting it as I haven't told her about it yet.
Another stamp coloured using Promarkers with the addition of some flowers. The embossed card, edges of the stamp & card base were all inked with a pink ink.

The One to Replace it
This is the card I made for my son to give my husband to replace the previous one (see previous post) that I made & then kept for myself. Actually my son said he preferred it & he also helped out a little by doing the embossing & attaching the card candi.

Present Trio
I made this card for my son to give to my husband but I liked it so much I kept it to give to him myself. I did make him another one though.
I used my Promarkers in an attempt to create an image with a sepia feel to it, not sure I managed that but I loved the effect I did end up with considering I stamped onto white card.
I've photographed a close up of one of the stamps so you can see the detail better

Craftwork Card Inspired
I was struggling to come up with a card for my father-in-laws birthday so after picking up an Craftwork Cards embossed pad at the Doncaster Craft Show I took the inspiration of this card from their website gallery. They have some fantastic designs on their website gallery & this particular card can be found here.
